Recognizing his commitment, the school sent him to Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute in Lonavala to deepen his expertise.

A transformative experience in Shailesh’s career was his six-month internship in yoga therapy at a hospital, where he worked with cancer survivors and collaborated with departments in psychiatry, neurology, and orthopedics. He engaged patients in both physical practices—such as shatkarma, asana, and joint movements—and mental and spiritual techniques, including pranayama, mantra chanting, relaxation, and meditation.
